Everybody wants to experiment and explore with AJAX. I don't know how many developers I've talk to in the last month and at some point the conversation has turned to AJAX. I've been experimenting as well just to get an understanding of what this framework offers and how to get around. I was talking with someone yesterday who wanted to get info on AJAX, start-playing with AJAX, conquer the world with AJAX...you know...all the normal things that people want to do when a new technology and/or framework comes out. :-)
So I thought I'd share the link to some tools I've been playing with called My-BIC. What is MY-BIC?
After tiring of over hyped ajax frameworks trying to hide the guts that make ajax programming fun I decided to share my recipe for easy to make ajax applications where you still have control over everything, but the setup of it all is handled for you. This is a basic state of mind system rather than a framework. I offer you four files and a design pattern that allows you to focus on making things happen rather than setting things up. This is designed for PHP5 but can be written for php4 if people are interested.
The title of this fellows site says it all: MY-BIC=Easy AJAX. Click here for info and be sure to check out the excellent tutorials geared towards beginners through to intermediate developers.
Now you wouldn't be referring to our conversation yesterday? Let me guess: AJAX and PHP
Hummm.
Thanks MIP as always able to sift right through it and find some great stuff and insight.
